TripO Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to TripO! These Membership Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the TripO Rewards Program ("Program"). By enrolling in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Eligibility

Membership in the Program is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and have a valid TripO account. Employees of FreeTravel and its affiliates are eligible to participate in the Program but may be excluded from certain benefits.

 

3. Membership Levels and Points System

The Program features four membership levels: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Your membership level is determined by the number of Elite Points you accumulate within a calendar year. You earn both Reward Points and Elite Points for eligible activities on the TripO platform.

3.1 Earning Points

  • Reward Points: Used to redeem various rewards and are valued at 1 cent US dollar per point.

  • Elite Points: Used to determine your membership level and unlock higher tiers of benefits.

3.2 Earning Activities and Point Allocation

You can earn Points through the following activities:​

  • Booking Hotels

  • Partner Activities (e.g., car rentals, tours)

 

Detailed Point Calculation: The specific number of Reward Points and Elite Points earned will be clearly displayed during the booking process and in your account transaction history. TripO reserves the right to adjust the Point earning structure at its discretion.

3.3 Membership Levels

Membership Level with Elite Points Required

Silver 0 - 4,999

Gold 5,000 - 14,999

Platinum 15,000 - 29,999

Diamond 30,000+

 

4. Redeeming Reward Points

You can redeem Reward Points for various rewards, including:

  • Gift Cards: Redeem Points for gift cards from popular retailers and restaurants.

  • Discounts on Bookings: Redeem Points for discounts on future hotel bookings.

  • Exclusive Experiences: Redeem Points for unique travel experiences, such as spa treatments, dining credits, or excursions.

5. Membership Benefits

Each membership level offers a range of benefits, including:

Silver:

  • 6% Rewards Points on eligible charges

  • Exclusive member rates

  • Access to member-only deals

  • Birthday bonus Points

​

Gold:

  • All Silver benefits

  • 6.5% Rewards Points on eligible charges

  • Priority customer support

​

Platinum:

  • All Gold benefits

  • 7% Rewards Points on eligible charges

​

Diamond:

  • All Platinum benefits

  • 8% Rewards Points on eligible charges

  • Highest priority customer support

  • Exclusive invitations to TripO events

​

6. Point Expiration
  • Reward Points: Reward Points expire after 24 months of inactivity in your TripO account. Inactivity is defined as no Reward Points earned or redeemed within a 24-month period.

  • Elite Points: Elite Points reset to zero at the end of each calendar year. Your membership level will be reassessed based on the Elite Points you accumulate in the new year.

7. Account Termination

TripO reserves the right to terminate your membership in the Program for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Abuse of the Program

8. Modification of Terms

TripO may modify these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Your continued participation in the Program after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.​

​

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TripO relating to the Program and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
